Presented during Art Basel 2016, Arabian Happy Ending is a Kreëmart collaboration with acclaimed Egyptian artist Youssef Nabil, created in partnership with the renowned porcelain house Bernardaud. These limited-edition plates, featuring two of Nabil’s signature photographic artworks, explore themes of intimacy and sexual repression in the Middle East through a lens that’s both elegant and subversive.

Part of an immersive experience that included oriental aphrodisiac confections by Ladurée, the project invited guests to reflect on the tension between indulgence and inhibition, politics and pleasure. Each plate is a conversation piece—provocative, poetic, and plated for impact.
