Created for Marina Abramović’s 70th birthday celebration at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in 2016, this custom hand-held mirror merges reflection, ritual, and performance into a single elegant object.

As part of a Kreëmart-led experience during the event — which included 70 minutes of silence, gold-leaf lips, and a performance by Anohni — guests received this limited-edition “magic mirror” as a commemorative party favor. Each mirror is inscribed with the date and occasion, honoring Abramović’s legacy of endurance, presence, and transformation.

Designed to be both functional and symbolic, the mirror becomes a portal: not just to one’s own image, but to a moment in contemporary art history where silence, ritual, and performance converged.
